This painting titled "Expecting 🌱" was created on a 12x12 canvas and took around 32 hours to complete. It was the first time that I had ever cut my canvas, and I was pretty nervous about it, but it turned out great!
I wanted to create something that could express the beauty of the female body during and after pregnancy, and was inspired by the amazing strength of women. So, I took my painting supplies to a local park in my town on a sunny day and created this fun, yet bold and meaningful piece. I hope this piece goes to the perfect home and bings joy and support to all who view it.
 Fun fact: I was actually about 3 weeks pregnant when I painted this and had no idea!
